digital communications coordinator

The Digital Communications Coordinator is responsible for managing the brand awareness/online presence (including public relations) of Gyrl Wonder across all digital platforms.

Key responsibilities include:
 

digital strategy

  • Contribute to the development of the overarching GW social strategy
  • Manage the execution of the social strategy across all platforms

 

Social media strategy + engagement

  • Aid the team in refining social media strategy and playbook 
  • Manage day-to-day social media posts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
  • Create and maintain social media calendar for any/all campaigns
  • Maintain social media engagement results and create reports.

influencer relationship coordinator + mgmt

  • Develop + manage influencer relationships per platform across industries
  • Maintaining up to date influencer contact lists

 


DIRECTOR of community + volunteer engagement

The Director of Community and Volunteer Engagement will develop and cultivate relationships with diverse community partners, including but not limited to, schools, youth groups, faith-based groups, shelters and manage regional and local volunteer teams.

Key responsibilities include:
 

community management

  • Maintain and strengthen ongoing working relationships within identified community organizations 
  • Work closely with community organizations spearheading collaborative campaigning
  • Act as a spokesperson and point person for GW in the community, building key relationships and managing marketing issues/opportunities as they occur
  • Lead the effort locally to identify, recruit and bring local leadership/champions on board
  • Act as the MC for most, if not all, GW programming

volunteer management

  • Recruit, train and engage volunteers for all GW events including the Gyrl Talk series for high school girls and annual youth summit (GW Conference)
  • Assist with the recruitment of regional volunteer teams
  • Maintain regional volunteer teams and keep them abreast of all initiatives

 


director of FUNDRAISING 

The Fundraising Director's job is to accelerate the growth of funds across a diversified range of income streams to achieve goals and longterm growth.

Key responsibilities include:
 

COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT

  • Build relationships with potential sponsors, organizations and donors
  • Create promotional materials to increase awareness of the causes, missions, or goals of the GyrlWonder brand
  • Develop strategies to encourage new or increased contributions
  • Secure commitments of participation or donation from individuals or corporate donors
  • Attend community events, meetings, or conferences to promote organizational goals or solicit donations or sponsorships
  • Contact corporate representatives or community leaders to increase awareness of organizational causes, activities or funds
  • Conduct research to identify the goals, net worth, history of charitable donations, or other data related to potential donors, potential investors or general donor markets
  • Monitor progress of fundraising drives
  • Create and maintain donor databases
